Accessibility
What we've built in, what's still missing, and how to tell us it's broken.
Last updated 6 September 2026.
What we're aiming for
We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That's a commitment, not a claim of perfection — if something on this site blocks you, we want to hear about it and we'll fix it.
What's built in
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have real labels, and errors are announced, described in words, and tied to the field they belong to.
- Text meets AA contrast ratios in both light and dark color schemes.
- All motion is disabled automatically if your device asks for reduced motion.
- The site works at 200% zoom and reflows to a single column without horizontal scrolling.
- No part of the process requires a mouse, a resume upload, or an app download.
Known gaps
Screen-reader testing across JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver is not yet complete, and the forms have not had an independent audit. Both are scheduled, and this page will say when they are done.
Tell us if something's broken
Email support@hireherald.com or use the contact form. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do, and what happened. We aim to respond within one business day and to fix blocking issues within ten.
